DOCUMENTARY | CREATIVE RESEARCH | APPLIED THEATER | INCLUSION | TRANSDISCIPLINARITY | TRANSDISCIPLINARITY
Through an applied research-creation methodology, the Spanish-speaking network TransMigrArts seeks to model and facilitate artistic workshops for migrants in vulnerable situations. This video, filmed in January 2022 in Granada (Spain), follows the first highlight of the project, dedicated to the creation of a tool for the observation and evaluation of the workshops. For one month, teacher-researchers and artists from four countries around the world explored ways to influence migratory journeys through the performing arts. This video was produced in collaboration with the LLA-CRÉATIS laboratory, the CRISO platform and the TransMigrArts project partners. We thank all the teams involved in the project, and in particular Monique Martinez, Lîlâ Bisiaux, Nina Jambrina, Nicole Cantisano, Fabrice Corrons and Agnès Surbezy. [Documentary in Spanish, subtitled in French, duration 1h07]. After the screening, there will be a meeting with the director and some participants.

ICA Book
This book is born of a realization: for some years now, processes of collaboration between research and artistic practices have been appearing that aim to contribute to solving the challenges of our societies in many fields (health -physical and mental-, migration, prison, business, education…). The concept of applied creative research (ICA) gives an academic term to this reality and, at the same time, opens a field of study that this book intends to initiate.

Premiere of “Taller de Migrantes: A New Musical ” – Theater of the Institut Français de Madrid!
This summer, turn art into an avenue to connect and empower.
From July 3-22, 2025, we are pleased to invite you to the TransMigrARTS Summer School at TAI University School in Madrid. It will be an exceptional environment to learn and share how art can be a tool to work with migrant communities, fostering inclusion and social development.
The program will include practical workshops, lectures and discussions on the implementation of creative workshops with migrant groups. We also provide scholarships and the option to receive certificates of attendance and training. Registration is open until June, don’t miss this opportunity!
We look forward to seeing you this summer to build a more inclusive future together through art!
In addition, we would like to share news about the most recent workshops that are taking place in Colombia and will soon be held in Grenada. The prototypes are taking final shape, although at the Summer School they will continue to be refined, incorporating new information, etc., in the innovation platform that is also ongoing.
The Grenada team continues to assess the transformation of individuals, using the instrument that has already been created and validated.
The book is in its final stages, currently being edited in Spanish and with plans for two additional publications in French and English.
The TMA 7 magazine is also in the editing phase, and the musical comedy is almost ready.
Seminars and meetings continue to be held in various countries.
Starting in September, these will be held in several closed venues in the program countries, with dates scheduled for November 21 in TAI and December 3 in Toulouse.
So there is nothing more to say, we have worked excellently and this vessel will soon reach port.
